State Auditor Hector Balderas on Wednesday ordered an expanded audit of the Central Consolidated School Districts financial affairs. The order came in response to complaints, inquiries and allegations about the district and after the Special Investigations Division of the State Auditor’s Office identified several risk factors regarding the district’s financial affairs and operations. “After reviewing the risk factors, I have authorized extensive audit procedures of CCSD’s financial affairs,” Balderas said in a prepared statement.
